Dee Jay Snow started Dee Jaying at a very young age and was inspired by the Dee Jay’s in the local parks. He would watch them for hours as they would rock the crowd with their beat juggling and scratching. He would then go home and try to duplicate what he had heard by using his father’s Technic Turntable and Receiver. He would practice his scratching every day for hours while his father was at work. His father finally got tired of him breaking his needles so for his 11th birthday he received (2) Technic 1500 Turntables, a Radio Shack Realistic Mixer, and Headphones from a local pawn shop. He started practicing on Rock and Disco records that belonged to his father, slowly developing his skills. He met DJ Red Alert through his father at the age of 12 and was taught by DJ Red Alert on the fundamentals of how to mix, scratch, and rock house parties.

He started Dee Jaying in his first club when he was 16 years old and started interning at radio stations. He guest appeared on Mr. Magic Rap Attack Saturday mix show when he was 15 years old. This helped catapult his career in radio. With the help of Paco Lopez, he started part-time at Hot 97 then moved to Hot 101.5 and 92.7 The Beat in Jacksonville. While at 92.7 The Beat, he simultaneously held (3) different syndicated as well as number 1 rated mix shows (The New Style, The Underground, and Xmen DJ’s). He has also appeared on XM Radio 66 Raw as well as 67 The City mix shows. Some of his other appearances include Rap City with Chris Thomas (The Mayor), Joe Claire and The Basement with Big Tigger. He also co-hosted a local music video show that appeared on one of the local cable network channels in Jacksonville, Florida. His latest T.V. appearance was on Luther Campbell’s Reality TV Show that broadcasted on VH1 back in 2009. He has played in just about every club in Jacksonville, Daytona Beach, Orlando, and various cities throughout the country.

He has played private parties for both Eric Sermon and Jermaine Dupri during Freaknik in Atlanta. Due to his popularity he received the opportunity to Dee Jay for Outkast at their “Atliens” Album Release Party at club 112 in Atlanta. During the summer of 2010 he played at The Vans Warped Tour in Orlando and The Remix Car Show in Miami with Qwes, DJ Rocky Rock DJ for (Black Eye Peas), Flo Rida, Ace Hood, and DJ Khaled. He was just recently signed to be the Tour DJ for Nephew Tommy of the Steve Harvey Morning Show (People Inside My Head Tour). 2016 was another big year for Dee Jay Snow. He was signed on to DJ The Patti Labelle & Lyfe Jennings Tour as well as The Icon Tour featuring Scarface & The K Michelle Florida Tour. He was asked to DJ for 2 Live Crew on the Grown & Sexy Cruise Concert. He was also added to The Grown & Sexy Cruise Line Up (Norwegian & Royal Caribbean).

He has recorded with both Attitude Records and MCA Records with groups such as Mc Chi Chi, Assault & Battery, Two of a Kind, J Bond, K Knock, DJ Trans, Mamado and 3 Grand. While with 3 Grand he recorded two Albums named 3 Bad Brothers & 3 The Hard Way. While he was with 3 Grand he received Gold Record status for the singles “Girls” & “Michelle” as well as Gold Record Status with J Bond for "One Mo Gen" & "Tennis Skirts"

He has also owned two Clubs in Jacksonville where he gave both Lil Jon and Mase as teenagers their first performances in a club. Dee Jay Snow has also promoted as well as Dee Jayed one of the hottest and most successful teen nights in Jacksonville with well over 1000’s of teenagers attending every week. In the early 90’s he helped formed Funktions Ent., along with two friends. They started throwing the first all Hip Hop Underground monthly events in Jacksonville. These events were sold out every month and were called the “New Style” and to this day are legendary.

He has Dee Jayed for some big organizations such as Central Florida Steppers, International Association of Black Professional Firefighters, Afro American Club, Essence of Fire, Red Bull, WFOT (Turtles) and the Jacksonville Urban League. In 2010 he received the opportunity to Dee Jay for the NFL Players Association as well as the New Orleans Saints Team Camp during the Super Bowl in Miami 2010. Other events include Greek Fest in New York, Myrtle Beach Bike Week, Daytona Beach Bike Week, Daytona Beach Spring Break, Freaknik in Atlanta, How Can I Be Down in Miami, Jack the Rapper in both Orlando and Atlanta, Florida Classic in Orlando, Super Bowl in Jacksonville and NBA All Star Weekend in Orlando 2012. New Orleans Essence Festival, BET Awards Los Angeles. For the last four years, Dee Jay Snow has played as a guest DJ with Dee Jay Capone, during The Florida/Georgia Football Game parties as well as for Red Bull in the Red Bull DJ Assault Hummer. This event is held at The Jacksonville Landing each year, and has well over 100,000 fans that attend this event.

Dee Jay Snow started SnowMeDown Ent. back in 1996 and is now a member of the StreetworX DJ’s. In 2005 He met DJ “Da Truth” and helped him in starting Massive Force DJ’s. They started a Black College Party Tour that to this day, there is still talk about these parties. The States that they toured were Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Alabama.
